After a wonderful production of the Ring Cycle in December, the first meeting of the Society on the 17th February, 2024, will be an “Aftersong” – in the words of Hans Sachs, the bringing to a conclusion the beauty and excitement of this event. We shall be joined by our patron Bradley Daley (tbc), who will offer his insights, and have asked eight of our members to give their observations in what should be a most stimulating discussion. Prior to the commencement of the discussion, the Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held, and the meeting will be followed by afternoon tea.
Please note, the venue will be The Story Bridge Hotel, ‘Pop Up’ Room, Kangaroo Point, accessed from the Main Street car park or from Deakin Street at the back. The meeting will begin at 3 pm.
Entry $15 members and $20 guests payable in advance to the Society’s Bank Account with the Bank of Queensland, BSB 124-021 A/c No. 2261-2919 noting your name and the month of the meeting.
